Your penguins are poignantly sad and hauntingly beautiful. Are they ink or digital? My husband is a visual artist...ha a degree in illustration. He does graphic design and illustration for work but mostly uses oil paints and collage for his own art.
Thank you. The drawings itself are ink, colors digital. I've also been planning a collage for a while now but haven't got it started yet. Would be great to see your husband's work!
Your penguins communicate so much! I've definitely been this penguin in the past, but am finding more strength recently. Thank you for sharing your penguins with ICLW and the world.
Your illustrations are so starkly beautiful, and capture so well all these feelings. I find this one particularly apt...it can be so exhausting, and some days all you have is the knowledge that you have to keep going, and the hope that it might not always be so hard. Thanks for sharing.
I hope you continue to find the strength to keep going...
ReplyDeleteI hope you swim....
ReplyDeleteThanks, I most definitely do, today. But that wasn't always the case.
DeleteThis penguin is me these days. I hope that your sinking days are behind you.
ReplyDeleteThank you Jane. Keep swimming, you're in my thoughts! <3
